The Philco washer and dryer looks awesome. Does anyone here have these? If so, are they any good? This is a set I would love to have one day.

I don't have one but I like the set too! I love the wash action in the washer and console design.

That console is a beautiful design

I have the Philco with the same wash action but a different console. The Washing ability is fantastic, it's amazing what that thing can pull down in terms of load capacity. The only downside is the slower spin speed. I think it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 600, around the speed of a Whirlpool belt drive.

They are not easy to come by, more of a rarity like the Kelvinator. Most of them fetch a pretty penny.
I have been told they didn't sell as many and that some developed leaks early in life and were sent to the pile.

It really is something to watch one wash.
