Hi again (last question for now!)

The lid bumper for my '61 A700 is missing. It is only supposed to have one on the left side as the bleach dispenser acts as a bumper on the right.

I looked at a few part vendors and it looks like there are two part numbers listed: 211914 and 212716. 211914 is not picterd anywhere that I could find and may be obsolete but 212716 is in the link below. Does anyone know if that is the correct one for an A700?

Thanks!

Andrew S.

The correct bumper is the 211914. The diameter of the hole on the pre '66 machines was smaller than the later ones (I've been able to muscle a larger 06 series bumper in the earlier hole, but it wasn't fun!)

If they have it in stock - grab it! I would have thought it was NLA LONG AGO.

Availability of early style; substitution of later style...

Thanks for the confirmation on that Ben. If they have it I will be ordering one. How well did the later style bumper fit once you were able to get it installed?

Bumper 211914 is NLA

I called that parts house and they did not have it. Another example of a web site that shows parts that look like they are available - but aren't.

Unless I can find someone who still has one in stock I may have to try the new style bumper at this point.
