Hi Guys.

Was looking at Comet web site and came accross some new machines. Fagor FU7814, on page (8), Maytag MWA0720IIA page (10), and Tecnolec TFL1206w-u page (12).

Regards

Paul

Fagor-Brandt

The new machine is a Fagor-Brandt machine. Check it on www.brandt.fr... ---> lave linge

Now my "English Grammar" question : "has anyone know ?" versus "does anyone know ?".

I guess my teacher at school would not have ever accepted "to have + someone + know" . Is it a colloquial version ?

Not that I know of. Although slang has a way of changing fast and doing weird things.

It should be: "Does anyone know".

However, one "joy" of the Internet is that the speed which people post does mean that language sometimes gets accidentally butchered. I regularly make small mistakes which, later, make me cringe because they seem glaringly obvious. I try to remember that it is what I say in my post (information, opinion, whatever) that matters...although I'm not sure that what I say is necessarily worth much.
