$100 may be a little steep for my tastes but the machine looks to be in great shape! It's certainly the perfect color! :-)

Can anyone give the details of this machine based on the model tag?

It's Maytag's 1st portable DW. Maybe Maytag's 1st DW. Not a common machine at all.

Save it,
Dave

If it were near me, I'd buy it without hesitation.

Incredible capacity and uniquely designed to take plates and cups/glasses on either upper or lower rack. This machine has Waste King silverware baskets substituting for the real thing, but that is not a big deal.

Only drawbacks with this machine are noise and lack of overflow meter. Latter not really a problem unless timer cam is old and leads are rusty. Pity no butcher-block top; those were nicer than the laminate.

It is indeed Maytag's first dishwasher - I have one just like it in white. It looks in great shape too! Hope someone can save it!!
