I always wondered why the automatics didn't include the 'Hold' option with their cycles that the wringers had on their timers. You should be able to allow the washer to run as long as you want on the wash, rinse, or spin cycles. |

MT did this on purpose because people who bought suds-savers often had been owners of wringer washers. Needless to say if you leave your clothes in bleach water for half an hour or more all your doing is destroying the rubber parts of the washer and your clothes. The bleach will do its maximum whiting in just 3 or 4 minutes the detergent will also work better if it has a chance to work before the bleach goes in.
