One of the first-gen direct drives. Unreal!

Why is that unreal? I have one of these machines and it still chuggs along just great, has only needed a pump.

I WANT THAT GOLD DD KENMORE!!!! It's one of the only DD Kenmore/Whirlpool machines worth having! My grandparents have this exact washer in white but with a dual action agitator. It doesn't do a neutral drain, very early DD machine! :D

So I gather Direct-Drive Kenmores are less desirable than Belt-Drive Kenmores?

But there is an exception to the rule when it has that style control panel.

cool one!

that one must be one of the very first DDs,1982-83.
At first only the 24"s were DD.
If that was local for me i'd snap it right up!-looks like a
"surviver"in real nice shape.
