Here's the situation.
We found one. It has been partially disassembled. We think pretty much everything is there except the front coverplate and indicator line but can't be certain.
It's in storage.

We would love to restore it, but can't before 2012 at the earliest.

So, if anybody wants her (no parting out) they're welcome to come pick it up. We absolutely do not want it going to the crusher, have no problem with other members parting her out (would prefer restoration, but who wouldn't?).

She's in ground level storage in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Contact us at my email: panthera_leo@gmx.net. If you put PANK in the header, I'll get your email faster.

Kinda neat, huh?!

Gas or electric?

Does that big hatch on the top left mean she's gas? Perhaps that houses the lint filter?

Toggles,

I will have to ask.
I'm still in Europe and my partner got her, shot her and sent me the photos late in the evening.
Could be, which would be really kinda groovy as the old gas dryers only needed 110V.
If I were settled permanently in the US already and if we weren't looking at moving soon and if I didn't already have a thumper and a 1947 Shelvador to put back together we'd be begging for parts.
It's gonna be first come, first served and we'd love to see her stay within the club.
I'll let you know if she's gas or electricity soon as I can.

NEAT WH DRYER

The hatch on top is the lint filter WH didn't sell a gas dryer until they went to the 27" wide machines across the board in about 1964. They may have made a gas dryer for Montgomery Wards around the early 1960s in a squared off cabinet design, I never saw one in person but they are in the Wards catalogs around this time.

Sorry, Toggles - a big trap, no hot gas.
