Hi... just stumbled on your forum as I was trying to figure out how old my washer is. My mother insisted it is only 10-15 years old although I've owned it for 8 years. It belonged to a friend of the family's elderly mother before that and I was sure she did not have it only a couple of years. I was right as it seems it is an early-mid 1970's model? I don't see the model number on the dryer but it seems to match in appearance except the portion that is silver on the front panel of the washer is gold on the dryer.

Anyway... I had it repaired last year when something was leaking underneath. I don't remember what it was except it cost $250 because it had to be turned over and labor was expensive, etc...

Anyway... I had an opportunity to get a much newer set(probably 8-10 year old) with larger capacity from another friend of the family.

So... I'd like to list these for sale on craigslist and wondering how much I should ask for them?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to our site! Probably some photographs would be of help in determining price. Perhaps a certain member here may even be interested in the set.

Serial numbers are coded with the year and month of manufacture. Provide those and someone can tell you when your machines were made.

I can sell a matched set of Maytag 207's in my appliance shop for about $175-$200.00 depending on condition.
