Last part of the wash, on program 5 non colourfast cotton.
You can see the timer advance to the pump and distribute at the end of the wash, start of the rinses.

Start of rinse no1 of 4, note the high water level, this is the normal level used for the wash as well as rinsing unless the half load switch is used in this case only the wash water level is lower.

Fantastic videos Lee.

Really brought memories flooding back of my parents 95452. Different but the same.

Has been really useful watching your machine and comparing it to mine and robs 95620.

When we used the 620 we/i was surprised at the different programming it has, when compared to my parents 452.

The changes are evident around the way that they distribute. My parents 452 would distribute and spin, but decelleration would reduce speed to just below distribute speed before the machine would start on distribution again. i.e the machine never stopped tumbling.

Then we plug the 620 in and it does the decellerate to stop and then snatch distributes. Your 622 does the same, so it is really good to have the different programming confirmed.

Again, still cant get over your 622's condition! it really is in such good condition - i trust you are very proud of it.

You get the bearings repaired, cause it sounds in fine fettle to me?
Paul

Hi, Paul

No I haven’t done the bearings yet, you can’t hear it on the videos but I know there on there way out, that slight rumble and occasional screech.

It is my second fevered machine, 18680 is top dog.

I gave my partner

this exact camera for Christmas. He loves this camera because he can hold it so comfortable in his hands and eliminates shaking. Takes really great pictures and videos.

Cam, is a samsung flashCAM.

I went into comet and found it was the only one out of about 20 that would focus in on close up images. And it was on a deal, £109 instead of £140.

Spin distribution...

My Parents 95450, which i think would be the white version of Pauls parents 95452, also only slowed down from spin to around distribution speed before continuing to re-distribute.

Im assuming the stopping & starting of the 95622 would achieve slightly better spin results, as it should allow the items in the drum to change position slightly?

I always thought the clothes came out of our 95450 pretty wet feeling in places. Obviously it was only 800rpm so i can't expect miracles, but i wonder if it wouldve performed better had the distribution been like the 95622. Im guessing so.

Liam.

It seems to depend on the load, towels or a large amount seems to produce the snatching you see in the video, light stuff like a load of shirts the drum seems to cost long enough into the redistribute. To be honest that doesn’t happen often thou.

We had a Hotpoint 9934 washer dryer that done a very similar spin cycle. instead of stopping and going straight back into distribution it would do a tumble then go straight into it. It done the snatching thing too! Brings back some memories!

in the final spin after the second burst it would have a long tumbling period before doing a long 500rpm spin then speed up to 1000rpm. Was always gutted that everyone elses hotpoint would always slow down to distribute then fire straight up to 1000!

One other thing, our family friend had the 800rpm washer dryer and it span like the corresponding washing machine. Strange!
