Does anyone know how this worked? I understand liguid softner in a dispneser wheel, but it looks like they are putting a powder in this one. How did it dispense a powder. And if it is from the burpilator.....wouldn't it overflow the stuff during the wash >?

Didn't see this thread yesterday -

I'm guessing they probably instructed you to add some water to the dispenser with powders, they would dissolve during the wash agitation and then dispense in the rinse water after the first spin. This dispenser sat up above the filter water burping up so it didn't dispense until after the 1st spin.

Makes sense, water in the dispenser wheel. The lady was just pouring Calgon into it.....
