All you roto-rack lovers show enjoy this vid of a European machine with its own rotating racks.

These vids were both shot last weekend during our washer meet in Chester. I hope you like my first efforts

Thanks guys for both vids. I've seen a couple of magazine ads about that dishwasher, never thought I'd get to see a real live one, even if it's on video. Fascinating. I still couldn't comprehend how the Keymatic actualy washed even though Mike verbally described it to me last time we saw each other at a get together here. Seeing is believing. Although I would have loved to see it go into spin also.

Alistair thanks 4 these nice vids

These Zanussi rotorack DW were quite polular in Italy as "built-in" machines in Snaidero kitchen cabinets.
Regular cabinets were shallower,so the DW cabinet protruded from the other ones.
This version for Italian market is badged REX

I really like the video you did

on the Hoover washer. Now is what a front loader should work. None of this cup of water businesss. The only thing I didn't like about the dishwasher is that the racks are round and it take up a lot of unused place.

Hello Al

thanks for posting these vids, yours show the wash action very well and I like the text explaining what is happening.

Cecil B De-mill step aside :-)

3226 spin cycle

foraloysius's profile picture
I've noticed the 3226 does only a short spin. Is this a spin after the wash?

I noticed my own 3226 that if you choose spin only it does alternately a short spin and a normal spin.

spin

Hello there

The spin in video is the short spin on the rimse cycle, unfortunately i lost the long final spin.

This seems to be a feature on the early Hoover automatics aswell, 4 rinses with a short spin either on the 2nd or 3rd rinse then of course the final long spin

I really enjoyed the video of Hoover Keymatic. I wish my Frigidaire frontloader used as much water as the Keymatic. The dishwasher is pretty cool too.

Yes, there is a bit of a knack to loading this dishwasher I had one for quite a few years, I could get almost as much in it as today’s modern pull out square racks, just had to make sure that the pan handles where facing into the centre.
And it washed with much hotter water than today’s machines.

Wow

Great to hear of someone who actually used this machine as a daily driver and to get an opinion of it in that light. I am just so pleased that this one has been "brought into the fold". Now to find the Superjet model of it, and the successor model which was manufactured by Hoover.

Here is the Superjet, similar I think but for the life of me I cannot remember what teh extra button was for

about the vids, they are much appreciated as they are my first efforts.

Gary, I love the vids of your "Matchbox" Keymatic, I think that this is possibly the best looking of all of them and glad to see you have such a good example. Although they are all great ...
