Salutations:

Sorry for the cross thread - but have been working on fixing our KD-21 (KDSM21A) and have noted that a Mallory timer is listed as OEM Singer replacement.

Anyone have any experience with either timer and what are the differences (if any)?

Again - sorry for the cross thread, but interested to discover that the controls appearently can be shared between machines (and many, many years).

KitchenAid used Mallory as a supplier for years. My 1989 22-series Superba used a Mallory rapid advance timer. Good timers, never a problem with any of mine.
