Hi guys

Found this site which was selling semi-integrated washer dryers (apparently these are getting harder to find)and I found two models that I have never seen or heard of:

A Moffat WDF40 semi integrated washer dryer (blatently looks like a zanussi)

and a Smeg SP98P.

I wonder when these models were made, they look eighties style, and this site still has them up. One clue though is that they were added to the catalogue in 2005, written on the product pages.

Have to agree that moffatt is a zanussi in sheeps clothing!

The smeg door looks like an old philips door! How can we never have seen these before!?!

Thanks for sharing

That SMEG washing machine is so old that the instruction manual isn't online even on their directory! Go figure!

Yes very old models.
At the bottom of the page it says "added to our catalogue february 2005!"

Also the Smeg Semi integrated Brown Washer Dryer will not let you add it to basket that would suggest they have none in stock

Thanks for replying guys!

I didn't even bother to put pics of the washer dryers in question on the original post as they were so bad quality. Yep Darren, the Moffat is blatantly a Zanussi, but I'm not sure when it must have really been made. I know Moffat appliances are Zanussi and Electrolux particularly as they were used as take away appliances in Wickes (Oven, fridge and dishwasher were Moffat) but I really don't know about the Smeg. That machine is a mystery, it does look a bit like a Philips. I know that the latest built in washers and washer dryers are similar to those of Bosch, Whirlpool and once Hotpoint, but that one I don't know about at all.

I tried to look up the manual for the WDF40 on the service force website, nothing came up. I know other moffats are there.

Most Smeg machines are made by Smeg.

Yes, SMEG made all the washer-dryers by itself, only lately they started outsourcing theyr BOL washing machines to Beko and before that Gorenje and MOL to Bosh/Siemens. TOL washers are still SMEG made.

WDF40

Exploded parts diagram in the link below. This model was produced in 1992 and was a Zanussi.
