Looks like it's in great shape. There are several listings for vintage stuff from this house including a GE Range, and a 1960s(?) TV set.

Interesting... There seems to be a side panel on the dishwasher. Is that perhaps a free-standing model, or a portable that got slid under the counter (seen THAT a few times!!)?

and the one i got here in cinti had that same side panel. not sure if it was originally a portable or a built in with an extra end side panel?

it's a kdc 17 and if i had more room i would go for it but i am at my limit on kitchenaids. hope someone grabs it, it is a great machine!

Side panels

are used when the dishwasher is placed at the end of a run of cabinets. My neighbors the Wilson's had an old GE that was installed like this, with the panel on the right.

this was ordered from hobart when the dishwasher was installed? i don't recall ever seeing side panels in the hobart brochures but then i may have just missed them.

Pete,

The installation instructions for the KD-16 series mentions side and top panels (among other items) being available as accessories from the dealer or distributor. It didn't give part numbers.

cinti area grabs this i may go get it on my day off this week. could always save it for parts, the motor alone is worth 50 bucks and i bet it runs fine and doesn't even leak!

we shall see here.

Wouldn't be surprised if this KA replaced something previously installed. Curious on the range next to it....

Ben

Range is a mid-50's GE 36" MOL model. Claims to be double oven, but I only see one set of controls (oven set & temp set), so the small side must be storage.
