Here are some random shots at the warehouse this weekend while John and Smitty were working on the stairs and lighting. Of course work was involved so I was nowhere to be found.

Oh W O W !!!!
A Kenmore 518, yes that's the first large capacity Kenmore. Holy moly (or as Radar on M*A*S*H said, "Holy Socks!"). If there isn't already a lengthy line or if it's even available, put my name on the list please! Wow would like to work on that machine. It's only the second one I've ever seen. Very nice! Do I spy a Blue Whirly?I never seen a blue Whirlpool before, My favorite color. The electromic Kenmores are cool to with the oven window type door on the dryer. Keep up the good work ;) |

Sure would like to see your warehouse whenever I get back to that area. My favorites are the GE range in Cadet Blue, and the blue Whirlpool washer. It looks to be their "Edged Sapphire" color, which was available for only a short time in the late 60's. The yellow WP washer is also nice. |

The black Frankenmore pair (Jason's) visited with me for a while. They are very nice and Jason tchotchked 'em up---the dryer with a window door. The Blue Whirly looks even better in person. What a beautiful color. |

Technically no. But I would sell anything for the right price. That washer is truly like new. Not a speck of rust anywhere, on anything. It does have a brand new outer tub. There was one small spot where the porcelain failed so I just bought a new tub while it was still available. I may have been the one to deplete the supply from WPL. LOL It has a new inlet valve and control board too.
So make me an offer I can't refuse. The dryer on the other hand is not worth much at all. It works great but does not look good by any stretch of the imagination. If the dryer were to go anywhere the windowed door would come off. |

Let me think about it.....now I love the window on the door, but not important...
this would be a great option for my one laundry room, when you come up my walkway of the house, there are picture windows that look into the rooms of the lower level basement, the other rooms are "staged" with furnishings and lighting to show them off, but I needed something for the laundry room, all my working machines are on the outter wall under the window, out of sight, all I would currently use these for would be just to plug in and light the room at night, and the black would stand out if I dummied up the wall with maybe white cabinets....so the window in the dryer would not be necessary.... but just the same....give me a price of what your looking to get out of these...it would be easier than insulting you which I don't want to do.....Thanks |
