This looks like a fun little washer I fould in Vancouver, WA. That little dial that I would have thought to be for the extra rinse is apparently for suds saving! Very cool machine!

Rare find

This was the end of the "Suds Saver" machines. Maytag had the best design for the return... simple and reliable. My mother had the A612S and used it all the time till her sister talked her into a Ken-pool Front loader. The washer never had a repair in the 22 years she had it. (And we have a farm so lots of jeans and coveralls and jackets... daily) Does this machine have the cork screw agitator?

Just like my original...

The dial on this machine looks like my original Maytag, except where the water return is, was a prewash/soak for the main cycle.
