I found this BOL Hotpoint dryer on Atlanta CL today at lunch and thought it was interesting - nothing but a start switch and a timer..........

So I come home this afternoon and check CL again and find this BOL Hotpoint washer - different seller - different part of the metro. What're the chances? Note: the dryer is priced higher than the washer. LOL

Perhaps because the dryer doesn't leak water ;-) I always thought these were fun BOL machines too - usually seen in gyms, OPL rooms in motels, nursing homes, etc. A friend had one in a group home he owned for a while - they didn't need anything but hot water and normal cycle so this fit the need perfectly. No filtering, one speed and one cycle. One of my favorite things was that the cycle took up the entire timer dial of some, you could see it moving as the cycle progressed. |
