Can anyone tell me anything about this machine? It's the single knob washer with the gold-ish panel
Thanks

It's a BOL Hotpoint. A non FF-style machine. Made after the big design switch. Has basic agitator with the diagonal lines down top 2/3 and deep fins at bottom. Does not have the agitator with the auger.

Hey Chance... did you take this photo? If so, where is it?

Thanks!

Look at all the direct drive (DD) washers in there! 10 for sure, maybe more. There are two absolute BOL one-knob wonder Sears machines, and two near BOLs next to the one in the back left. I think Sears sold a lot of those, pretty much all the time.

There is also what looks like a very late GE or Hotpoint with black panel and one knob on the back row, fourth from left.

Of course, check out the 1969-1971 Lady Kenmore - looks very well used. I hate to see washers go to die but if they are very well used, that's at least a consolation.

Should this be a Deluxe thread?

Gordon

Nope. The 1969/71 LK being present in the photo front and center qualifies this for an Imperial thread. Also, you mentioned it, so it is part of the discussion. I wish I could see it with the hood up, even though we know what is underneath.

Have a good one,
James

Good to hear from you, Chance! Esp after meeting you at Kevin's Wash In. How's the A50?

I, too, am wondering where that picture was taken. There's one or three interesting machines there...

Does anyone have a picture of the inside of this machine?
