Hello Everyone! I'm glad I found your awesome site. We have an old Kenmore Dryer that is original to the house and still works great. We got a new HE washer (the matching avocado washer was long gone before we moved in) and we're now thinking about getting a matching dryer.

We've been trying to find if anyone would want this vintage dryer, because we're into vintage stuff, so we figured others would be too. And I really don't want to just throw it away, because it still works and it is awfully cool. But we haven't really come across anyone interested in it, and we've asked some people and stores that are really into modern/vintage collecting.

I guess my questions are, is there a market for an old dryer like this? and (more importantly) is there any one in the San Diego area that is interested in this? Thanks.

The stock number is: 60654
The model number is: 7018600A00
The serial number is: 08220 M948
The sign on the console says Sears Kenmore Soft Heat

Hi Brad,

I'm interested in the dryer and just send you an e-mail.

BTW, yes it is a 1970 model.

About those vintage appliances; I always wondered why all of those appliances, no matter the color, were not a solid color. It was almost as if there was a lighter tint of the same color around the edges, whether it be the dishwasher, washer, dryer, refridge etc.
