My guess...

is 1958 or 1959. I have a 1958 GE Mobile Maid and a 1959 GE Princess pull-out and this very cool 30-inch Empress model is mentioned in the user guides for both machines.
THIS is the dream machine of a couple of collectors here, myself included!!

I was on this list first, lol any way I would love to find one of these. When I was a young teenager I stripped one of these at the local appliance dealers, I still have the power drive unit that pulls the tank in and out at the touch of the control button.

OMG

Would love even the 24" as my everyday dishwasher. We had a 24" in town and a Mobile Maid at the cottage. Some day the dishwasher God will smile on me again. Mike

Now I get it!

This is the same dishwasher that people have taken pictures of in the kitchen at Filoli house in Woodside, CA! I saw it in April! Looked cool. We have 2 different versions of the 24" in homes growing up. A late 50's with the crank handle and a 62 model in the last house with the pull across lever. I removed that machine in 1990 when I sold the house. Still worked. Greg
