This site might be of interest to some of you. It's in german but it shows a prototype Miele with clear plastic parts being put through its paces without any covers.

So you can see the machine in action with no casing!

For those of us who flunked German go to this free translation site and click on the Free Website Translator tab and paste the address of the web site you wish to be translated. Does a pretty good job but is a literal translation. One gets the drift though.
