Console light

Here's the lighted console, when you push a cycle button, one of three red jewels light to indicate wash time.

black feet

The underside of the mini-basket has black rubber feet that sit on the vanes of the Acutvator.

tub

Yes, the tub is turquoise but a lighter shade than the cabinet.

Bleach dispenser

Notice says timed bleach dispenser, I believe it released the bleach near the end of the wash cycle.

Wash time

Shows you where to set the red line for wash time

the end

Had to block the light with a rug due to get a good picture. This is time for wash & wear cycles. Silk & woolens button gives slow agitate & fast spin, not often found in this combination on programmed washers. Can't do photos of matching dryer, it's buried in a corner.

Robin's Egg

I have never seen a prettier GE and I am blown away with the blue tub, something I have never seen before.

Heavy Filter Flo Pan

My nana had a mid sixties GE V12, and I remember the weight of that filter-flo pan vs the lightweight filter flo pan of my 1991 GE. The difference is if you hit someone in the head with the old pan, you could cause some serious damage, vs the latter which was the weight of a frisbee LOL.

PS......ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO the most beautiful GE ever made

Thank You!!!!!!!

Thank you every one for your nice comments/compliments. The washer does work, has a small leak I suspect is the boot. I have absolutely no place to hook it up or display it for now, if the money boat ever comes in I want to have some basemet dug out for my "treasures". It is extremely important to me to have my goodies working, I don't want things just for display & three of my vintage stoves I have hooked up & workng & I regularly use them.

sensi-temp, That is such a beautiful machine! I have a matching dryer to your washer if you EVER decide to sell that machine I would really appreciate it if you would give me a chance at it.

Thanks much and enjoy!

That's my absolute favorite GE control panel style, and in Turquoise, too! Wish they'd used that one longer; it's much nicer looking than the one they used for so many years.

Give the Machine a Name

I'd call her Ms. America; she's absolutely gorgeous, and you're so lucky to have her.
