And a rather unusual UK find...

In the US there's appliances in all the colours of the rainbow, but in the UK it's a different story with only a few variants at a time. But here's a vintage Zanussi fridge freezer made in 1980 in a lovely golden antique colour, which the seller declares a rarity and states that you could not get much coloured appliances then, bought from Selfridges apparantly.(Imagine this with the other appliances in the kitchen with the black control panels and chrome doors!)

AEG 625 in the next town from me. If I had some method of getting this into my cellar, I'd have it!

have a look at this beauty!!!

A Hotpoint New Generation Microtronic 95840, a bit leaky, but nevertheless a beauty. Does it deserve its own thread?

Agreed Gary - that D6418 Logic E Dryer is in lovely condition and there certainly are some hopeful sellers about at the moment! That D6218 is a tad pricey, but have just seen what the seller wants for that Quartz in my home town!

I dont think I/we will be going for it - not at that price anyway.

Paul

Where is Harry the hammer, or even Steve the sledge hammer.

God it looks like the 800, but the 800 had a chrome trim around the door, which fell off and I used as a frizzby for the dog to fetch. Bloody great piece of junk…

Rant over, bloody OOVAHS. And Buy it now for £55.00, not bloody likely.

Hi Darren, hows the LG??? Thats the one I had in 1993 in an apartment in Wokingham, it was in a hall cupboard and I pulled the pipes through from the next door bathroom and put a shelf above it with a Phillips D153 small dryer over it, FAB machine,,,only thing you couldnt see it work but spacewise excellent....

Hey Mike!

Great to hear from ya. Apologies I haven't been in touch been hectic! The LG is fantastic. The ONLY reason I want to change it is because I want to upgrade to the 11KG Steam. However it's only been released in White atm and I want it in black. You'll have to let me know if you know about its possible release and if/what you can do for me?!:D:D

Lovely slim machine the slimstar. Didn't this one do the spin-drain too? I like it but i'm a front load guy myself (I like to see the action. Though I have an uncomfortable like of the indesit moon & many decor panel machines but most have a door within a door!) I'm still holding out for A front load philips and an opaque door electrolux. Both are going to be rare finds but stranger things have happened!

Hope your move went well. Will have to find the time for a chat!

Darren
