The first washer looks to be an LDA-7800, which is what replaced our 1962 machine in June of 1976. My parents ran it until they got a KA pair in 1994.

18-pound, 5 temp, 4 level, 5 cycles, non-timed bleach dispenser, centrifugal softener dispenser, recirculating self-clean filter. Super Wash on Normal. Separate Gentle & Knits (with 1-stage cool down). Perm Press has 2-stage cool down (unless the timer has been replaced). Not a winged Double-Duty Surgilator, that came the next year.

That Whirlpool dryer in Geneseo looks like it was practically unused.

I was thinking that very same thing Dan. Not a wear mark on the bulkhead anywhere, no wear on the rim of the front, and no heat marks on the vent. NICE!

Nice array of Whirlpools. My father's cousin had the model washer in the first post, but hers was Harvest Gold.

Have a good one,
James
