This was in a storage auction that we recently purchased. Since our house isn't gas we're not able to use. We believe it is a 1967 (looking at the date at the bottom of the instructions). It doesn't look like its ever been used - cord is still factory wrapped, lint screen and tumble ball clean (looks unused), gas line fittings still in paper bag and power cord adapter still in plastic bag. The instructions are still wrapped in plastic and unopened. We know that its been in storage for a few years. We noticed 3 light scratches on the front of it and some tape residue on top and front along edge. We did a light wipe down to clean off some of the dust from being in storage. We're located in Warrenton VA. If interested in buying please contact us directly at sswtig@msn.com we're open to offers. We also have more pics but couldn't figure out how to post them with the message.

WHOA is right!

Absolutely this dryer was never used. It definitely needs to be though. Hopefully somebody snatches it quick to give it a good home......and plenty of use.

Have a good one,
James

Thanks for the info - we didn't know exactly what the ball was.

The pink plastic ball was to be filled with water and placed in the drum with dry clothes and run on the air fluff setting to dampen clothes to be ironed. The ball had small holes only on the top half of it so you could fill it to the proper level and place it on top of the clothing in the dryer without loosing any water until the dryer was started. They worked but it did make a good bit of noise unless you had quite a bit of clothing in the drum to soften the impact of a hard plastic object tumbling in a steel drum.

trying to make an offer

I have thought of a way to get the dryer safely moved and am trying to email an offer but the address comes back not deliverable. Email me at bobofhollywood@yahoo.com and maybe we can work something out. Thanks a million.

spam spam spam spam

I emailed an offer to both addresses but have heard nothing. Perhaps my bobofhollywood email landed in the spam folder. I have had this happen before.
