This rather smart looking Philips dishwasher came into today, i just thought it to be a good looking machine for its time.
I have no information about it though

Probably nowt wrong with it as the insides look clean so its obviously not broken mid cycle, probably they have just had a new kitchen fitted!

Hi handsome, great looking dishwasher, always liked the older Philips,Bauknecht machines. Mum had a Bauknecht dishwasher in 1988 to replace the 18 month old Hoover crystaljet which was the worst dishwasher she'd ever had. The Bauknecht on the other hand was brilliant, very quite and the cleaning was excellent. It lasted untill 1999 when it was replaced with a Bosch.

P.S. from what I remember they had improved seals on the wash arms for better water pressure, a sensor to detect a drop in water pressuer i.e if a bowl had been knocked over and filled with water also I think they were the first to use the sealed flow through heater outside the tub
