Hi,
Once, I just for fun put a rose in my Candy washing machine (being very certain that it will fall apart). Inspired by Miele"s washing rose advert - as they did, I put it on silk cycle... guess what? rose PERFECT! Then I bought another one, and filmed it..
And today same thing happend witg Samsung.. rose still perfect... waiting for others to upload with their (hopefully old and new) different machines!
Realized that Gentilness on this particular cycle has nothing to doo with drum design..Roses are barely in touch with the drum due to high water level.. only on spin.
Or are brands advertising sth that all others actually have?? For example... some other machines already had tine cutting with smaller load, and Candy advertised it as a special... Miele advertised gentilness with washing roses, apperantly some others doo that... I don"t want to talk about using less water with smaller load <--- ALL machines doo that, and recently I saw that as a "special", but sadly I forgot where :(
So, now it"s time for you to share oppineons, and maybe wash a rose ;)
Here"s a link to the video :D

Thanks alot indeed! :D

..I can't find a clip, but am sure one of the UK guys will have one or the advert, but Hoover advertised the Keymatic in the 1960's as 'so gentle it can wash a rose'....

It's funny...

...years ago I remember my keymatic owning Aunt commenting about the advert of 'washing a rose'....I always thought she was wrong until I stumbled across the same one in your link online....

????? Is this a joke???

Do you think that rose would really survive one mieles classic 13/2 tumble??
By the way here is the vid, it clearly says and you can see SILK, and ask miele what programme they used.
You have the vid in the link.
You then go to the "mieleonline" channel (of that vid) and write a msg.. by the way there is no single vid where they even mentioned cottons cycle.
