John, Jeff, Call and Jeff (and everybody else), unbelievably generous hospitality, eats, drinks, stuff, more stuff, and more stuff. In this picture John is proving to me that Lady Kenmore is the superior product and I should just give up on GE's once and for all (Eric, in the background, is keeping the display of stacked front loaders from falling over to the left):

OK, so we agree...

we're bringing this home and installing in the upstairs broom closet where it'll use a lot less space instead of all those old washing machines in the basement and we can get rid of all those vercocked Hoovers.

First wash-in won't be the last

There would have been many more pictures, but half of them were unprintably blurred, probably my hands were shaking because, as one of you already said, it was like having Christmas morning again for the first time in 45 years! Don't mean to be too sappy, but how great is it to get to hang with people from all over the country! Very impressed with how many people traveled far to get there.

That would be my political party.
We want to seal out corruption, and bring fresh, crisp ideas to politics! In fashionable colors!

Remember: 3 2 1 pie crust

3 lbs. flour(I use King Arthur all-purpose, good blend of glutens and no bromides or bleaching)

2 lbs. fat (well, I think you have that covered)

1 lb. water (give or take).

Julia and I would also add 2 tablespoons Kosher salt to that and maybe 1 tablespoon sugar for flavor and color.

Cut your fancy lard up into little cubes and keep them cold. Process the lard with the flour in the KitchenAid with the paddle until the lard gets cut enough into the flour that the whole thing looks like cornmeal but DO NOT ALLOW MIXTURE TO CLUMP UP BEFORE ADDING WATER. Remove mess from KitchenAid bowl and dump into big salad bowl. Add almost all of the water and toss mess like a salad so as not to activate much gluten. Do this until mess adheres to itself, adding the rest of the water if you think necessary. Portion the dough into 8-10 ounce balls, wrap the balls tightly in plastic wrap and press them down into round patties. Allow dough to sit for at least 4 hours in the fridge or preferably overnight.

Look carefully at her kitchen, you will notice my dream dishwasher, the 1960 GE TOL pull-out right behind Paul's head. Would it be too much to expect that Boston Electric still has that somewhere?
