This thread is about a week over due, but hey, better late then never, right?

Day 1 was at John's (Combo52's) warehouse / museum and as you have seen was a great event! Day 2 was at Jeff (brother, Jeff-adelphi) & Cal's house. After we arrived we were told there is "Name that agitator quiz" and they were scattered around the yard, similar to an easter egg hunt.

So here are the agitators we had name. Make, model and what year or decade it's from. How many can you name?

More Bendix machines, a couple combos, including the Philco at the end (and a Westinghouse combo next to that!).

Now it's time for the laundry room... first the detergent shelf and display. I like all the easy access, resealable containers!

A Stabor H-axis top loading washer. I'm not sure I would take one of these if someone offered it to me.... interesting yes, but it wasn't my favorite.

And the incredible Philco Bendix commercial washer, found new "in the box", never installed or used prior to this. It was just stunning!

Here is the modern contingent. A Speed Queen, WP Duet and a Gibson labeled Frigidaire FL washer.

I also REALLY liked the long water hose with the nozzle on the end, GREAT for adding more water to anything! Excellent idea!

They ALSO have this American Motex Extractor! WOW how I would LOVE to have one of these too! It reached 1780 RPM at it's max! I love it!

Much to our surprise... the lights went out as the black lights came on! I NEVER knew detergent boxes would glow like this under black light! How fun is this!

But wait, there's more!

After the black lights went on, the sound system in the laundry room went on AND the disco lights! That was a REAL surprise!

Yes a laundry room that doubles as a disco! Now THAT is just TOO COOL!

I was also able to make a quick visit to John's house and his basement.

Here is 1/2, yes HALF of his kitchen. I'd have to say it's a pretty awesome kitchen because it has two (or MORE) of almost everything! Do you have your seat belts buckled?

Here we go.....

It has 2 - 16 Cu. Ft. refrigerators (only), 2 - 16 Cu. Ft. Freezers (only), 2 dishwashers, 2 (or was it 3?) sinks, an induction cook top, an electric cook top, 2 additional electric burners, 3 ovens, 3 microwaves, 3 commercial warming drawers and the only GE washer/dryer combo in black ever built. Plus numerous coffee makers, toaster ovens, blenders, etc.

Pretty much a dream kitchen if I ever saw one!

GE Filter Sink

macboy91si's profile picture
While it is a neat little machine, I can't begin to imagine the problems this thing could experience if actually used as a kitchen sink. It appears that the sink waste goes into the outer tub? I can see it now, the filter-flo hat with bits of lettuce, lint, and hamburger from washing the towels after taco night.

:)

but I mainly want to thank you for the video of the glass bottom Easy in the other thread.

The Extractor is actually a Bock Extractor

It is one of the last machines they made for American Laundry Machinery. in the late 60S Before American dropped all smaller machinery from its line. The last small washer extractor they made was in 1970 and was a 65 lb machine and was sold named "American Cascadex" and in had hard formula cards that were called Cardex formula controls They were about 10 inches wide and 16 inches long very heavy and would break if dropped just right. or bent.

P.S.... Yes I want to know about the "KATZ" cycles too! Every "daily uses" washer was marked with the same cycle, but I forgot to ask John about it!
