Hello all, i just bought an apt and it came with this vintage GE Mobile Maid Model # sm301b1. From doing various searches on-line it seems as though its from 1960's. I am not sure what to do with it. i am looking to get rid of it somehow. i live in NY and i don't think many people are into collecting old dishwashers i am looking to get rid of it somehow.

If anyone one is interested or has any suggestions please email me Luban@optonline.net

That's a beauty, why would you not want to keep it? Does the apartment have another built in dishwasher?

i am doing total renovation in the apartment and getting brand new appliances. its definitely something different but i do not have enough room to keep the mobile maid. it's in a good condition and i believe it still works.

We had almost the same model in our simmer home. Ours had the "Silver Shower" and the cycle buttons were chrome.

Strange... I just had a quick dream last night and our Mobile Maid was in it. I was horrified that the white top racks were all rusty.

Be a little patient. I have a sneaky suspicion someone wants this machine, it appears to be in very good shape.

OOOH! Brooklyn's kinda close to Montreal... LOL
Pete, Mike?? Have you fellas seen this one yet??
It looks like an early version of the three-level washing system; mid to late 60's I guess.

What? What's that you say? You'd need to see a close-up shot of the control buttons and a shot of the silverware basket before you made any further inquiries?

i saw it the other day but too far away for me. i have one mobile maid i rebuilt and use and the other one i picked up in buffalo in feb that is patiently awaiting my attention.

i do love those old g.e.'s especially that big silver spray arm with those huge water jets! i used to look at em as a kid and wonder how that little pump could move that much water thru that big spray arm. now that i own one i can see it moves it very well!

i'm sure someobe will grab this beauty!
