Hi everyone. We've got a Aqualtis AQGD169S and it needs bearings and a spider but I can't seem to find them anywhere. I wondered if anyone here can help me locate these parts?

Also near the very end of a cycle the pump would switch on then off straight away and continue doing this for a while.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers, Richie.

Thanks for the info. Just had a look there and they don't do bearings for the Aqualtis AQGD169S??? Mmmmmm.

Regarding the pump issue, has anyone come across this quick on/off pump cycle before? I'm thinking it's something to do with the controller. After 10 minutes of this on/off cycle the pump will actually turn on and it continues it's cycle.

Richie.

Just my luck.

It put up the "Attention F2 Outlet blocked" warning even though it's not blocked and the drum wont turn at all.

I think these machines have a welded outer tub, that's why bearings aren't available. Might be time to take advantage of your Hotpoint 5 year parts guarantee.

Tom.

Bearings

You can't change the bearings and spider on the Aqualtis its a whole unit replacement only, similar to recent Hoover Candy machines and Indesit prime etc etc. Not made to be fixed.

Yea, figured that. They just don't want us to fix these machines. Anyway the control module has gone; it's doing what it wants too and getting stuck on part cycles, drum not turning. It's had it after 2 and a half years.

So i'm looking for a second hand Miele, Bosch or AEG. Nothing to expensive and something I can fix if/when it breaks

Cheers.
