Are the Kenmore, Jenn-Air, Maytag and Kitchenaid Dish Drawers made by Fisher and Paykel? |

The 1st-generation KA models were sourced from F&P. Kenmore, 2nd-generation KA, Maytag, and apparently they're offered on the Jenn-Air label now in Canada (not on the U.S. web site), are a different design not from F&P. Interestingly, however, I recently found that KA is still using F&P sourcing for some of the European market. And the Briva is still available in the UK, for example. |

We have one here that has not worked since one month after the warranty went up. The one we have is made for DCS by Fisher Paykel. When it did work,it was not that great. Maybe compatible with the Frigidaire (Electrolux) line of dishrinsers. It is quiet but everything has to be scraped and rinsed before placing in this unit and there is no disposal at all. Just a line of filters that can be easily clogged.Great concept but horrible design.I would suggest a stronger recirculation of the water and a built in disposal as well as a better filtration system. This one has a faulty control board and a leak that fills the storage drawer beneath with water.
