Matching Range

Again - nice looking. Coppertone items are harder and harder to find.

Styling just for styling's sake.

Lovely collection

GE used that same backsplash/control panel on a couple of its cooktops in the late '60's. They were configured like the burners on their old 40" stoves with grills on the RH side.

That range is a self-cleaning model, I guess the self-cleaning feature doesn't work any more. Actually very nice. I like the fact they are including an enamel or porcelain panel that goes on the wall behind the range up to the vent hood.

Dishwasher!

This is earlier than a 1972 dishwasher - I can tell by the dispenser. They had changed it to a white. The older style like this one had the metal cover.

I HATE THAT STOVE...........................................

My mother bought that same exact stove in avacado when we left our apartment and moved into a house in 1974. I thought it was the ugliest stove then, and still think so now......Thanks for the flashback LOL. By the way she had that same stove until I replaced it for her with a new GE range in 1993.

Oh and by the way...........................................

There is nothing more ugly in this world than BOL Hotpoint appliances from the seventies IMHO!

I actually think it's quite attractive with the unique control panel and the shaded coppertone. And this wasn't a BOL hotpoint because it had self-cleaning feature. Also, that dishwasherr is more like 1968 or so. I had a very similar looiing Hotpoint (even the similar knob) in my first college apartment, but in white. They were converted to apartments from very big dorm rooms in 1965 to 1967. I think my model was the absolute BOL and the qabove was next model up from that lol. The only difference being the control panel.
