.
An AW friend whose computer is down asked me to post regading bypassing the lid-switch on his new top-loading Speed Queen.

It does nto appear to be magnetic. How does one do this in the least invasive way possible to avoid voiding the warranty?

TIA Thanks in Advance!

Steve to bypass the switch is simple. The lever bar can be accessed where the overhang of the top of the washer is in the back. Right under the timer if you reach up to the slot in the back you will feel a lever bar. If you put a wad of newspaper on the top of it to apply pressure it will bypass and one can watch all phases of the cycle. I should take pics..
