Any members in Sydney at the moment in a position to be able to rescue what looks like a very restorable coin operated Speed Queen. In 9 hours, approx. 5am (A.E.S.T.)it will have been taken for scrap by the local council as it is a local rubbish collection. It is situated in Glen Street (no. 11?). It has a sloping aluminium front with at least three lights (inc. IN USE and OVERLOAD). Right side is money box, no chips in porcelain top, stainless bowl, perhaps 1980's. It is two streets back from Bondi Beach (southern side). If anyone needs parts from it for free, please post on this thread.
