So the the friendly Miele repair tech came over today to fix the washer.

The washer would wash fine, then drain, but when it came to it's first spin, it wouldn't. The light beside "rinse 1 and 2" would flash.

So for the record, this indicates worn/wearing motor brushes. I think it's neat that the machine knows!

Fixed and runs as good as new. The tech was friendly, and gave me 20% off the parts and labour. Lucky me!
