Hi all,

After the cold snap my plan to revamp my storage shed came into action.

This involved:
Through sweeping out.
Moving items.
Retiring the Hoover 1321A.
Blocking up drafts.
Replacing pipework and installing a simple "Solar Coil" water heater.
Painting the walls and part of the ceiling.
Building a sink unit.

All of this had to be done quickly as I have new and rare arrivals soon. The end result is marvellous and rustic. I have christened the shed "Wash Haus of GaGa", you can nearly guess who it is in name of LOL!

Pictures following.

Enjoy, James.

The hose from the yard tap runs down to the shed then divides, one hose to the cold tap and one hose to this valve that isolates the hot water coil from the cold feed.

It then travels out of the shed again to the roof.

To this small coil of hose that should heat up nicely against that black roof in the summer to give me hot water. Only a litre can be heated at once though but the time and efficiency outweigh that and once heated up water can be continously run through the coil until it cools.

James.

Keep the pictures coming! You are doing fine work refurbishing what you have. Those of us who just barely fit a spare machine or two in a tiny basement are jealous!
More pictures, and good luck.

Now you've gone and done it.

OK, that looks like a Miele extractor in the corner, and if it is I'm going to be very jealous!

Hi all,

No that is most definately not a Miele spin dryer. It is a Servis Extraspin 5030. I have a notion that it is made in Germany though... I'm not a Miele fan... More pics to follow as requested!

James.

Under the sink, the Servis Extraspin 5030. I think this is circa 1986.

Nice work. Just out of curiosity, what are those things on the wall to the left of the sink?

Snow again...

Hi all,

Thank's to the two Paul's for the nice comments. Looks like Mother Nature was on my side this time because we had a shower of snow today so I'm very proud with myself getting the refurb done in time.

Won't be long now til the new rare arrivals. The Servis 5030 Spin Dryer will have good company. 2011 seems to be a lucky year so far.

James.
