Hey guys , I'm a bit new here , and I may lost alot of interesting threads of dishwashers :(
I just love them and seeing pics of how other people load them.
So here I propose you to tell us the model of your dishwasher , the year you bought it and then you can upload some pics of it.
It would also be nice if you could upload some pics of a bob load or just a Daily load.
I hope you like my idea.

Cheers :)

Let's start

So guys , I'm gonna start with my DW :)
It is a Whirlpool Sixth Sense , 12 place settings and made in Germany.
It is rated :
A energy
A wash
A dry
On the test cycle ( Eco Wash ) it uses 12 liters and 1,2 kWh.
The machine is really quiet , rated at 44dB.
You can also see some pics :)

This is the options.
The time delay goes up to 24 hours.
The Multi Zone I can select the basket I want to use.
Sani rinse is a 75*C rinse. If you keep opening the door during the final rinse , the machine certainly won't be able to keep the temperature for the full 3 or 4 minutes.
Then , if it couldn't reach , at the end of the cycle the Sani Rinse light will flash.

Today I just threw some dishes on the Eco Wash ( Cold pre rinse , 50°C or 122°F wash , a cold rinse and a 65°C or 149°F rinse , 40 minutes dry [ on the test cycle the dry phase is longer for a A dry on the label] )

So my DW is a Bosch SGS 8572 made in 1997

both racks are identical

BSH used to call this serie of DW Two-in-One : the two buttons on the right of the handle are DUE CESTELLI = TWO RACKS and CESTELLO SUPERIORE = UPPER RACK. Small loads are washed in the upper rack only, while full loads can be loaded as one wants, no need to split into pot--> lower rack and glassware ---> upper rack. This configuration works great for small households, but I guess it's not so useful for those that need to wash many dishes. I' thinking of Zanussi-Electrolux DW that can wash two racks fully loaded with dishes only

Have to say thanks to Alex/Logixx.
His vids on YouTube of his Siemens DW are so impressive that convinced me about BSH DW quality

My Asko 1375

kevin313's profile picture
Here's the front - not too fancy, but this dishwasher is whisper quiet, has a stainless steel interior and upper and lower jets. Gets dishes really clean.

I've had it since new - 10 years, and never had a problem with it until this week. It seems the inlet valve went bad, so I'm in the process of getting it fixed.

I thought, maybe after 10 years I should get a new one, but I think this still has some life left in it and I'm not ready to learn a new machine!

Miele G2830 purchased in June 2006. This is a picture of the control panel...I guess not much to see. It consists of a display screen and touch areas that you use to scroll the display up and down. You scroll to select the program cycle you want to use. You can re-order the listing so that the programs you use the most appear near the top.

Here's a video of my dishwasher. It's an AEG Öko Lavamat 6060 from 1995.

Louis

so now shall I upgrade my nick into Lavamat ? ;-)) *LOL*

This is a freudian typo *LOL*.

Don't allow your DW to read AW.org, otherwise she may be jealous of the Lavamat and of the Novotronic ... and she even could go on strike *LOL*

Yes, I really like our B/S/H dishwasher. A realitve of mine had a Neff 2-in-1 like the one above. Really clever design - the racks are very similar to the one in B/S/H's first counter-top dishwasher.

This is a more recent load in our 2006 Siemens:

Mine?

is a GE Nautilus portable, and it's the quietest portable dishwasher I have ever had, and one of the better cleaning dishwashers I have ever had.  Very rarely is there anything to rewash.

Best cleaning dishwasher was my first, a reverse-rack Maytag portable, WC400, from 1973.
