I have a question to ask, might be a pretty silly one, but I'll go ahead and ask, anyways. First, I will explain the situation as best as I can.

There's an old GE filter-flo washing machine in a large house not too far from me. I know it's there, because I used to work for the people, mowing their property a few years ago, and that's how I saw it in there. From what I remember of it, it's in harvest gold, had 4 chrome control buttons on the left, had 3 chrome knobs in the center, and of course, had the chrome control timer on the right. The people that own the place hardly ever use it, if at all, and I have heard talk of them wanting to maybe sell the house and property.

I'd love to get ahold of that washer if I can! It looked to be in awesome condition, from what I remember seeing of it. If they put the place up for sale, should I ask them if they'd sell the GE washer? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank guys!

Andy

Sure why not. Sounds like an early to mid 1980s model. It may only have 3 chrome buttons, which would be the speed combinations. One knob in the middle would be water temps, another water level, and another either extra rinse orsoak or SpotScrubber. Or there could also be 5 chrome buttons instead of 4--which would be the pre-programmed cycles. Middle knobs would be most likely be auto temp/cold wash, and possibly warm rinse options; water level; and SpotScrbber or something else. A very nice machine.

Taking A Chance...

Thanks guys! I'll ask them and take a risk. I might get lucky and get it for free, too! Won't know unless I try. If I do happen to get ahold of it, I'll post photos of it. I'll keep you posted! :)
