My cousin and his wife recently moved into a new home. Their previous house came with a GE V16 washer from the '60s. The new house comes complete with a pair of center-timer Maytags hiding behind bi-fold doors in the kitchen! Both are white but are apparently "fraternal" twins; the washer has a blue stripe at the bottom of the control panel, while the dryer has a gold stripe. The dryer has the filter at the back of the drum and an electronic control dial that dings when the load is done. The washer has some wear on the timer dial and is missing the softener cup, but it does have the classic turquoise agitator with filter cylinder. And they both have plastic panels instead of the famous light-up glass. I'm guessing these are '70s era machines.

Sounds like a 606 dryer.
