Great machines and washed very well, have always been an indesit fan. My sister has a BOL indesit from 2007, it does at least 3 heafty loads a day ( she has three girls ) and has never missed a beat. She did have to replace the door but that was damaged when she moved house. I know a lot of people dismiss indesit as cheap crap but I think if you are on a budget their BOL machines do just fine.

My cousin had a similar model to the one in the first few pix... I seem to recall she had several problems with it... several drain pumps and bearings, but she was using it on a daily basis: she replaced it with an Aqualtis I think in 2006. I've heard that she quite noticed the difference in spin performance with the newer washer.
My auntie had the exact same model as the 1 in the 5th pic (Indesit Limpiatre Inox ) which took the place of an ancient Indesit L5 (really wierd machine... with a very petit porthole and weird operation too: it wouldn't drain without spinning as the drain pump was mounted on the main wash motor). She had it for a long time perhaps 15 years or longer, I believe it never had any repairs during this time... however she was washing only a couple of times a week. If I'm right she replaced it although it was still fully working in 2006 in exchange of a Candy GrandO which was given to her as a present. The Candy is still fine to date but she complained initially as that particular model of hers does not let her do a prewash on a boilwash but only on a 60 degree cycle... but she found a way round that by now and she seems happy with the washing results. |
