More updates.
The seller has contacted me and we're negotiating on the price. We're not that far apart. I asked if I could see the machine before settling on a price. The machine is currently located in the basement of a house that the seller owns that is currently rented. So, she has to make arrangements with her tenants for us to go in and look at it. Should be able to see it within the next week. Have already bribed my neighbor (okay, everyone, get your minds out of the gutter) to help me haul this machine home.

Still waiting
Well, I emailed the seller the middle of this week, hoping to be able to see this machine in person and wrap up the deal, but like most of my date prospects, it's Friday night and I still have not heard anything back. So, unless I hear from her in the morning, I guess I won't be seeing and/or owning this machine this weekend.
I'm really hoping to wrap up this deal soon. The only bright spot in all of this is the longer she takes to get back to me, the longer I have for the snow to melt, which will make getting this machine in my house even easier. Will keep everyone informed as details emerge! Ron | ||

|
Safe and sound at home
Well, thanks to my neighbor who helped me today, the Thor is now sitting in my basement. Fortunately, we were able to get it out of the basement where it was stored, onto the truck, driven to my house, into my driveway, and then wheeled to my back door to bring it down to the basement. Unfortunately, just as we were crossing over from the outside into the basement, the machine slipped off the dolly and fell to the floor. A small dent and some paint loss on the side, but nothing major.
Many thanks to Robert and the AW website for making it possible for me to own one of my dream machines. The machine is currently not operating, but will keep you posted as the work progresses. Ron | ||
