I was browsing old threads, looking for information on the Bendix Economat and found one from "Jetcone" from 2007 wanting to sell the service manuals for the Bendix Economat and the Norge timeline. These are two of my favorite vintage machines, bringing back memories of my childhood, the two machines which hooked me on washing machines in the first place.
I'm assuming the manuals have been sold but wonder if there are any others to be had and if Jetcone, you might at least have them saved to a file which I could possibly download? If I was a member back then I surely would have scoffed them up!
Thanks very much and thanks to all for a great forum and the knowledge floating around on it.
Kevin

Well Kevin you might be in luck.  Downstairs I have three of them waiting for help.  The one against the wall I've had for 10 or more years, it works but it now is leaking.  I'm not sure yet from where.

The one in the middle is a Crosley version and the one in front is in pretty rough shape and will be a parts machine to make the Crosley work again.

Now that the move of the website is completed I'm looking forward to have some time work work on a washer and these three are next in line.  So I'll try to photograph some of work.  More to come.

Thanks Robert:
I will be axiously waiting. Where and how did you get not one but three of those machines? I don't seem to be in the right place at any time! I just have to keep trying. BTW, do you do anything to the rubber tubs to keep them soft and pliable, I imagine them stiffening up over time and then easy to cause leaks?
