I just signed and I am thrilled that there is a website for people who have a passion about vintage appliances. I can remember every appliance my mother had. My old aunts had and nieighborhood friends mother's had. I can remember exactly what they looked like and the brand name. For years I thought wierd because I didn't know anyone else who shared my love or I should say passion for vintage applaince.

I look forward to this!!!!! :)

Welcome to the site. You will have to tell us about some of the machines you remember. Then we can see who might have them so that you can see them again (and maybe make arrangements to touch them and see them in action).

This is a great site. You're going to love it here, and you'll learn a lot. We're all always interested in vintage appliances and stories.

Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome. And Revvin Kevin I have looked at some of the picture galleries. It's amazing. The restoration work is superb. And then there were pictures of someone's house complete with the retro kitchen, appliances and all. It is fabulous!

Welcome!

Welcome to the site. :) I felt the exact same way that you did, I thought I was the only person that liked washing machines, and watching them, in operation. I had no idea such a site like this existed until I happen to stumble upon it about 3 months ago, by accident, and I love it here!

Look around, have fun, and enjoy!

Andy

Hi Andy in Indiana. I'm Andy in South Carolina. Thanks for that warm welcome. Since signing up a few days ago I've had a ball and I have learned so much about vintage appliances I would term this website a professional website as well as a collectors website because there are so many people signed up on here that not only collect, but have such a vast knowlesdge about product history and the mechanics of the appliance(s). I thought I knew a lot about old vintage appliances. Don't think I could pull a passing grade. I still have a lot to learn. Thanks again and take care.
