Finally getting rid of the Kitchen Aid KDC-60A that has been in a slow decline over the last year and picking up this dishwasher on Saturday....can't wait!

Love those Maytag dishwashers. This one looks to be from around 1994 or so. It'll clean anything you put in there. And they are pretty quiet too. |

Hopefully someone can help me out. Finally got my dishwasher in the house and I had to spend 45 minutes pulling pieces of plastic out of the top and bottom spray arms with tweezers! I don't know if it is from gel pacs or just people that treat their dishwasher like a trash can, but does anyone know how to disassemble the arms so I can fully clean them out? I may have gotten most of the plastic out and it washes very well but I just want to make sure. I am also affected by the recall and they are coming out to fix the rinse aid dispenser. Thanks everyone...
