This machine was in the home that my family purchased in Newton MA in the year 1944. I was thirteen years old then and I learned how to run it. Needless to say I did a lot of laundry growing up.
When my mother passed away and we sold the house I kept the machine with me although I don't know why. The Patent office number is 36893 issued on Dec. 26 1905. I have not found the machine serial number yet. The motor is a Domestic Electric Motor either 1/4 or 1/2 HP 60 cycle 1750 RPM 5 Amp. I'd love to have some comments on what I should do with it (please be polite) . Thanks I'll post a picture as soon as I get the chance.

If you go to this link of Lee Maxwell's and tab or read down to figure 12, you will see a picture and a description of this machine and its operation.

I would like to know more about your Laun-dry Ette machine. I looked at a link describing the machine's operation. What kind of shape is it in and does it work? Are you considering selling it? You can send information to kvcr467@yahoo.com. Thank-you, Kevin
