Well Hans... We can surely take that "junk" off your hands.

I have a big scrap yard where I keep this kind of "junk". Most people call them a closet/display shelf, but you know... I just try and make peoples lives easier and dispose of it properly. :P
...
Anyways, back to reality...

Thanks for sharing a different perspective of your building from that of vacuumland!

My eyes are getting lost with the awesomeness!

I could get lost among all of those goodies too-Is it a museaum where you can buy the display?Really neat collection of goodies! esp vacuums and kitchen equipment.wish I could find a swap shop in my area with a stock like that!No basements in the part of NC where I live-if you tried to have a basement here-it would be underwater.shallow water tables here.At best you could find goodies in attics and garages.

GRRRR!!

I wish I had the Bewitched/I Dream Of Jeannie Dial-A-Matic in pics 6 and 8.

We had this vacuum (in green) when I was a teenager, and with the exception of the bag getting clogged every so often, it was a pretty good cleaner.

I need to make a confession.................................

I recognize that pink General Electric canister vac. In picture "14." It was my nana's old vac, and we used it to vacuum out the fireplace. Well one day as a kid in the 1970's my brother and I decided to start a fire in the fireplace. We had to put it our before my mom got home from work, I thought it was all out, so we vacuumed out the fireplace, and I put the vacuum bag in the garbage can outside, then I put the can to the curb. We were watching "Roots" on TV when we heard this large BOOM outside, the garbage can was on fire, and the flames reached the telephone lines. I almost shit in my pants LOL. Apparantly the embers were still warm, and all that time in the can with the lid on made it "percolate." That was the last time I used that vacuum. thanks for the memory LOL.

Add me to the list of those wanting to come and explore! Very nice collection. That pink GE cannister vacuum is the one I grew up with. Last time I saw it it was in mom and dad's basement with rust and peeling paint. Wish I had rescued it before it was in such bad shape. What is the air conditioner sitting on the KA dishwasher?

My mom has one of these pink G.E. vacuum cleaners also, and it is still in use. Does a great job, lots of suction. She is now in assisted living, and I am packing up her home, and will be taking this vacuum home with me. It still has one of the original and unused pink vacuum bags. She used to empty the bags so as not to have to buy vacuum bags. I think we got this in the early 1960"s.

Hans Down, You're a Wiiner

Hans, I so admire your collections, the spotless house , fabulous food, meals and sharing from the heart.  I don't post on Vac-land but I enjoy checking out the new posts. I am addicted to looking into the "window" of peoples lives and it gives me great pleasure to so how much enjoyment your collections profide us all.  The vacuums looked great and the warehouse is the best yet.  I'm sure I could spend hours there.

I recognize some of the more unique vertical vacuum cleaners as those used by my Great Aunts. Something about putting the vacuum in the center of the room and being able to clean everything without moving it.
