So, I'm guessing it's either the timer or the solenoid. Am I to assume I should be seeing 120V at the solenoid when it should be engaging? |

Yup, checked the cycle selectors and it should be doing the 1010 RPM. That was the first thing I checked. |

What I would do is take an electric cord and crimp terminals on the ends and connect the cord directly to the solenoid. When you remove the two wires from the solenoid be careful that they are not touching anything. You can then plug the cord into a computer power strip with a switch and you can switch the solenoid on and off as you wish. If the machine spins at 1010rpm with the test cord energized then you know the problem is within either the timer or the wiring. |
