Visit to the sale

Pete, you're very welcome. I'm just glad I decided to go, even though the weather was bad, and I wasn't feeling the best.

I looked at the GE 40" range, which I think was from the 70's judging by the control panel. Unfortunately, the larger (oven) door and handle were damaged rather badly; looked like something had been run into it. This caused the door to be misaligned and to no longer open and close properly. The cooktop surface, control panel and bottom drawers were in great condition, though. They had it priced at $100, which was way too much for something with that kind of damage.

I went through the Terrace Park school first, and bought a very comfortable metal frame chair for $2.

At the Mariemont buildings, I got a glass vase and a light fixture with white glass shade for $5. Could only take the shade part as no electrical items could be removed until the power is cut to that building.

Thanks to Meghan for posting the sale info on here. She's a delightful young lady, and I really enjoyed talking with her while there. It's too bad there was only one day to try to sell such a large number of items.
