Nice looking Kenmore washer - looks to be VERY clean. Similar, but not matching, dryer, too. Maybe a little steep on the price, but if appearance is any indication of their condition, these might be worth it.

The model tag on the cabinet was placed there from late 1975 until early 1983. This washer is a 1981 Kenmore 70 model. There were two versions, one without a pre-wash (like this one) and one with it, that were both made with a DA agitator and a manual filter - only model(s) ever made with those two features.
This was a short lived machine, as the 1982 version replaced it fairly quickly with a self-cleaning filter. The machine looks to be in great shape. The dryer is a mid-80s "Toyota" machine. The woodgrain on the console face and the gray console trim are good give-aways. Gordon |
